Dear Nour,
y crazy sister is going to go to Egypt working as a belly dancer. I made a reasearch on the net and found out that in July 2003 there was a law 136 (Decree No. 136 of 2003 concerning the conditions and procedures of granting work licenses to foreigners) banning forein dancers from performing belly dance. Later on however you andtwo other dancers have won the court and renewed the licences. Does this mean that the ban was removed for ALL foreign dancers or only for those who won the case? I would no like my sister to get into illegal business...
Beside, what are the working conditions/typical conditions/precautions for a dancer in Egypt. Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated

At first we have to thank Yasser Al-Swery that any dancer can perform in Egypt now,but the conditions to apply for work permits are much more complicated now and routine way.
