Dear beautiful Nour,
Thank you for visiting my site, I really enjoy visiting yours. Thanks also for your sweet compliments on my "Egyptian styling" in my video clips. ;o)
I love your costumes besides your lovely dancing. You have terrific taste in your marvelous, classy bedlah and gorgeous choreographies.
I am curious as to how I may obtain the Egyptian "shebaka" fishnet in suntan since I am of Middle Eastern heritage and have an olive coloring. I do many fancy Egyptian weddings and Arabic concerts and would like to purchase the actual torso fishnets from Egypt. Do you sell them or know where I may purchase? The net that you step into and attach either with hooks or with flesh colored elastic under your bra straps. Just like the ones you wear with your bedlah. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I just love your green dress that you wore on Rakia's Ahlan video. WOW! The performance you did with the Egyptian men in tarbush. You are a class act.
About Rakia, I only took one two hour private lesson with her when she was visiting NYC a couple of years ago. I heard how great she was and could not resist to meet and work with her. I am glad I did although very briefly, I enjoyed talking to her so much and watching her dance. I am pretty much self-taught (like you) and have been dancing Arabic since I was 3 years old with my family, I just feel the music deep in my soul. It is as natural for me as breathing. I grew up the music and dance constantly around me as a young child thanks to my parents and also their wonderful encouragement to follow my dreams and make them all come true, which I did. ;o)
I am in my mid-twenties and have been blissfully happily married to my soul mate for five amazing years who much like my parents, also encourages me to perform and have fun. He is not in the arts like myself, he is a very prominent physician. I feel very blessed that he enjoys my love of performing. He even loves to take my photos and videos at shows. I dance for the love, fun, joy and cultural expression and enjoy the luxury of getting to carefully pick and choose from the most wonderful of shows. This is a dream come true for me...
Doc and I enjoy a lot of frequent European travel for holiday about 5 times a year. Who knows maybe we get to cross paths one day.
Stay fabulous!
Love and shimmies,
SORAYA ;o) <3

Soraya's Motto: Dreams DO Come True, You Can Have it ALL!
Dear Soraya!
I am so happy to receive such nice sincere letter from you sharing with me your story and feelings towards dance and art. I feel there is so much in common between us ( started dance early, in love with dance, raising the skills by yourself(arabic dance), working hard on practicing, loving to hear music and to perform, and, surely, being happily married with a man who appreciates, encourages and values what we do).
Concerninmg the net for badlah: I use "Danskin" tights (long ones) cut the legs off and after that I attach it to the bra leaving a small space in the back ( where there are hooks on the bra ) in order to be able to step into it. As my experience shows, it is better to take light beige SOFT pentyhouse.
All the best to you and your family, keep on working, being beautifull, I am sure we will meet some day.

Dear Nour,
I want to thank you for having come here, in Brasil. You really taught us very important things, showed us that the Oriental Dance's world is serious and a huge one.
Plus, your workshop was amazing and the Gala-show was wonderful, I just want everybody knows that.
I, Carolinne and Natália (Wafaá, Nezma and Taghreed)would like to express our appreciation for your remarkable classes. We meant the necessary steps and all.
With you, we can find the beauty of the dance. It's a hard work although easier in the classic style when You teach the way.
I wanna also thank you and Yasser for being so kindness and friendly with me, André (Amin) and with the girls. We spent happy and funny times together.
You two can be sure to have a family here, always and ever!
We wish You and Yasser much happiness in your future.
Dear friends, Yasser and I are so happy we got to know you, and more than that, hearing such great words from you is so precious to us. Too bad there are not so many pictures we have from the festival in Brasil. We had a great time in your wonderful country.
We are looking forward to meeting you again soon.
